Mgr. Pavol Sabela - NGO statutary

Pavol studied social work at the Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava. The issue of "homeless people is dedicated around 10 years. He worked in several organizations to establish his own. Actively involved in various topics such as risky and aggressive behaviours, existential and narrative approaches in working with homeless people. Pavol has completed long-term supervisory training and he is an accredited supervisor. He is a member of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, where he creates materials for work with homeless people migrating within the European Union. He is the guarantor of the provision of social services in NGO STOPA.

Martina studied environmental ecology at the Faculty of Nature Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava. Now she is mainly concentrated to coordination working therapy/integration programs for homeless people. Actively prepared courses of education/training leadership "urban gardening". She is also in charge of the group work with clients in the integration processes.

His focus is mainly on low-threshold clients, as he has worked in facilities for the homeless for several years. His job is to properly direct a person in need to a service that can provide the necessary support. At the same time, he seeks out and motivates people to visit NGO STOPA. He has accredited training "Instructor of Social Rehabilitation". At the same time, he also carry on an apartment for the elderly, who have a long history of homelessness under the name Bet lechem Community.

Alica Kolláriková - streetwork/coordination of volunteers

Alica is a student of social work at Comenius University in Bratislava. She got to NGO Stopa through school practice. She was so impressed with working with homeless people that she became a part of STOPA team. Although social work is a new experience for her, she has always been interested in social issues and working with marginalized groups. She sees working in the Stopa team as a great challenge, experience and opportunity. Within the activities and services of NGO STOPA, she is responsible for the coordination of volunteers and also she is a streetworker.

Mgr. Školastika Valachyová

Školastika is the newest member of our team. She studied sociology and social anthropology in Bratislava and during her studies she devoted herself to religious movements. In NGO Stopa she´s currently in charge of resolving the Ukrainian crisis and providing comprehensive assistance to people fleeing the war. She is actively preparing to work with people in housing projects and also in the process of combining practice and increasing her qualifications through various trainings.
